Know what the appointment includes
An initial assessment and a follow-up appointment may have different purposes and durations. Read the description, check the practitioner and location, and ask about anything that is unclear before confirming.
Payment and reimbursement
A live clinic must publish its actual accepted payment methods and explain how invoices are provided. Do not assume an insurer will reimburse treatment: check directly with your insurer and ask the practice which documentation it can provide.
Changes to your plans
Read the cancellation terms before booking. Any applicable deadline and fee must be visible during the real booking journey, not introduced after the appointment has been reserved.
