Write a short account in your own words
Note what brought you to the appointment, when you noticed a change and which activities are affected. A few useful examples are easier to discuss than a long collection of possible internet diagnoses. Include what you hope to understand, not only what you hope will change.
Check the arrangements
Confirm the practitioner, location, appointment type, duration and price. Check the treatment language separately from the website language. Ask ahead about physical access or communication support that you need.
Bring only relevant information
Follow any preparation instructions from the clinic. If a clinician requests existing reports or other medical information, ask for the approved secure way to provide it. Do not upload records through a public contact form or send sensitive documents to an unverified address.
Leave space for your questions
You can ask why an examination is proposed, what alternatives exist and how the next step will be reviewed. Before leaving, check that you understand the explanation and the agreed follow-up arrangements. Being prepared should make the conversation easier, not make you feel you must arrive with all the answers.
